I absolutely love what I do for a living, I’m a court reporter. There are lots of fun briefs that we use that can also assist the average person in everyday note-taking ventures. It will save you tons of time and they make a weird sort of sense when you learn them, especially in groups. And they’re just plain fun!
Let’s start with a very relevant group of words that end in “ship”.
Championship – CHOIP
Membership – MOIP
Friendship – FROIP
Ownership – OIP
Dealership – DOIP
Leadership – LOIP
You get the gist, right? So anything ending in “ship”, add the “OIP” to it and, voila, you have a very fast and easy way to write what is often a long, multisyllabic word.
