Do you have a graduating high school senior continuing their education? Are you looking for help paying for it? Your union has a scholarship opportunity for YOU! CSEA Central Region 5 is proud to announce the application period for our annual Continuing Education Scholarship is open. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who will be continuing their education at an accredited college or trade school, and are the child/legal dependent or grandchild of a CSEA Region 5 member in good standing or a CSEA Region 5 staff member. The application deadline has been extended to April 10, 2025. A minimum of 4 winners will be selected.

MICHAEL D. CARRAWAY SCHOLARSHIP
It is with great pleasure CSEA Judiciary Local 334 announces the 2025 Lt. Michael D. Carraway Memorial Scholarship Program. Graduating seniors who are a child or legal dependent of a court employee represented by CSEA Judiciary Local 334 and will be attending an accredited institution of higher education are eligible to apply. Applications due by May 23rd, 2024.

REGION 5 CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
The Region 5 Community Outreach Committee is asking you to save the date for its 3rd annual Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, June 28, at Touch of Texas in Binghamton. This event is used to raise money for Special Olympics NY. This event is open to ALL members AND the community. Raffle baskets/donation items appreciated.

REGION 5 SYRACUSE METS GIVEAWAY
Enter to win up to 4 tickets (and food vouchers) for the Syracuse Mets game on Sunday, May 18 @ 1 p.m. vs. the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. This game is also on a ‘Kids eat Free’ day.
