Join us at the Community Outreach Committee’s fourth annual cornhole tournament to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital. Pre-registered Teams – $50; Teams registered the day of- $65; Spectators – $10
Registration begins at 12:00 and the bags fly at 1:00. The committee will be raffling off a CF MOTO Touring two-seater Side by Side UTV. Raffle Tickets are $50 each and you need not be present to win. Full details can be found in the attached flyer.

Our annual fun in the sun day at Enchanted Forest Water Safari is back for another year! Price of your ticket includes park/pavilion access, lunch, dinner and all day soft drinks. All local members are welcome free of charge, guests age 3 to 7 are $40, age 8+ are $61.99. Full details in the attached flyer.

Local 334 Night at the Syracuse Mets – September 4th, 2026
Join us for an end of summer blowout on the party deck Friday September 4, 2026 as the Syracuse Mets take on the Rochester Redwings. Admission includes an all-you-can eat picnic, our own cash bar and fireworks to follow the game.
There will be a short membership meeting prior to the first pitch at 6:35 (Look for the Judiciary Local 334 banner). Tickets will not be mailed and can be picked up at the Group Will Call window at the box office the day of the event.

STATE POLITICS
Tom DiNapoli Wins – We congratulate State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli on a decisive victory in the Democratic primary. This was made possible by the hard work of CSEA members and staff from across the state, particularly our retiree members who sent more than 25,000 postcards. Thank you to all who came out to support Tom. Your efforts made a difference, and together we helped ensure New York will continue to have a comptroller who stands with working families and protects our retirement security.
AFSCME RESEARCH
AFSCME will be conducting member research this summer to help inform political messaging and outreach ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Some CSEA members may be contacted and invited to participate. In June, AFSCME’s research firm, Grove Insight, conducted online quantitative research with small groups of members in states with key 2026 elections. Selected members may be contacted by phone or email and invited to share their perspectives.
In July, Grove Insight will conduct a broader survey of a targeted sample of AFSCME members. Those selected may receive a text message invitation to participate.
Member feedback helps shape the issues and messages that resonate most with working people, and participation is encouraged if contacted.
