Member Engagement Event – 9/26/25
On Saturday, September 26, CSEA Members will be visiting other CSEA Members at home to say hello and to offer them a chance to talk about the challenges that we are all facing together as workers. CSEA is looking for members who would like to participate in visiting other members.
Opportunities for volunteers: CSEA Members who would like to participate, please contact Region4@cseainc.org or call 518-782-4400 for more information. Teams of two or three members will go out between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. The base of operations is the Courtyard by Marriott in Lake George where you will pick up your list of members and addresses and be assigned a teammate.

President Dave DeJesus is visiting courthouses in 3JD and 4JD, speaking to members, addressing concerns, answering questions and giving out vital information.
He hit the ground running with grievances left unaddressed from the previous board.
Any member who has a grievance that is currently still active is encouraged to forward all pertinent information to Dave at the above e-mail address. This will help him see what’s been done and what is still needed to be done to help YOU.

It’s that time of year again!
2022 Scholarships are due April 30th. Our local awards 4 -$1000 scholarships. High School seniors and College Students are eligible.
2021 Scholarship winners
Please join us in congratulating your 2021 Mary E. Donahue Scholarship Winners.
Hannah Gomula, daughter of Rebecca Gifford will be attending Cazenovia College this fall. While being involved in clubs and volunteer services Hannah was able to participate in honors classes and maintain an excellent GPA.
Yasemin Knott, daughter of Brendan Knott will be attending Siena College this fall studying Biology and Psychology. Yasemin aspires to become a Forensic Criminologist or Forensic Psychologist.
Christopher Schulman, son of David Schulman will be attending Siena college this fall studying Biology. Christopher is a well rounded student who was able to maintain his grades while being active playing hockey. Christopher will continue playing on his local hockey team while attending college.
Samantha Siciliano, daughter of Margaret Siciliano will be returning to the University of Lynchburg this fall. She has been studying Criminology and Philosophy. Samantha achieved a 4.0 her freshman year.
Workplace exposure guidelines
On December 10, 2020 Scott Gartland, President of CSEA Judiciary Local 333 along with the Executive Board hosted its first Members meeting using Zoom. During this meeting Scott explained the CDC COVID-19 workplace exposure guidelines.
