CSEA Region 4, CSEA Local 333 along with dozens of unions throughout the State

rallied in Albany on Sunday, March 8th, to fix the broken Tier 6 pension system.

Our voices were heard by the invited speakers, including Governor Hochul, and the

feeling was everyone is on the same page to address the Tier 6 inequities. It’s up to us

as union members to keep the push on!

Below is the tentative/interim agreement for REALTIME page rates.

We are in active page rate negotiations, so this is a temporary arrangement.  The interim agreement is solely for the Court Reporter REALTIME rates that have been charged in some areas without formal agreement to do so.  This temporary side letter allows for that to now be formally acknowledged and charged while we work through the negotiations process on the overall page rate agreement.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

CSEA members who sign up for the Tier 6 Rally in March, will be permitted to attend. The email regarding the waiting list is intended to help CSEA gauge the number of members responding, as this list is sent directly to the AFL-CIO. Members will receive a confirmation email regarding their attendance within the next two weeks.

Our goal is to provide as much information and assistance to all members as much as possible. We strive to respond to

phone calls and texts as quickly as we can. Going forward, if you have a specific question or concern, try to email us

through our union emails, so we can have accurate information and easily track our responses to the membership. Also,

if you speak to a Steward or Executive Board member, please include their names in your email, so they can be included

in our responses.

CSEA Inc. will be sending contract surveys to all members’ personal emails very soon. I will notify everyone through our

webpage and MyCSEA app messages when they go out. Please don’t ignore the survey, as we gauge what concerns

members have for the upcoming contract negotiations.
